Phoenix Strings
Rehearsals are on Tuesdays, 6.00-7.15pm, Music Room 1, at Walsall Arena and Arts Centre.
The ensemble is aimed at students who have passed their Grade 3.
Phoenix Strings is the step up from our junior ensemble, Apollo Strings. This band encourages students who have passed their Grade 3 (or students or play at this level) to join. Similar to Best and Apollo Strings, Phoenix Strings welcomes students playing all string instruments (Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass).
Along with all Music Centre groups, Phoenix Strings performs regular concerts throughout the year, giving the young musicians fantastic opportunities to perform to friends and family, and helping them to develop confidence as a performer.
Once students have reached Grade 5, it is time to move up to the next group, Senior Strings.
