WYMS Final 2026
The final of Walsall Young Music Star 2026 took place before Easter on Thursday 26 March. As always, it was an excellent showcase of the talented students who attend school in, or live within Walsall. We were also treated to performances from our 2025 winners, Victoria and Alex.
Our adjudicators for this year’s final were Sharon Guy and Helen Miller, and our finalists certainly gave them a difficult task in selecting this year’s winners.
Our Up and Coming winner for 2026 was Olivia Dooley, and the Walsall Young Music Star 2026 title was awarded to Priya Saini. Congratulations to both of our winners.
You will be able to hear both performers again at our Bandstand Bonanza on Sunday 5th July in Walsall Arboretum.
Once again, we congratulate not only our winners but all of our finalists.
Thank you to everyone in the audience who came along to support the event and our finalists. We would also like to thank our adjudicators, the Walsall Music Education Service staff, and Walsall Arena and Arts Centre for their support in helping to make the event a success.
